For the 5th year, Eldorado will be hosting a wreath workshop and we hope you can join us for a night of holiday fun with friends.

Gabriella of Grandiflora Manor will be teaching how to make a fresh, organic holiday wreath that you’ll take home with you. Winter greenery, berries, and interesting dried accents will be provided to adorn an 18” grapevine base to be finished off with ribbon. Gabriella will redefine the festive holiday wreath by demonstrating how to use these accents to create a wreath that beautifully reflects your style. 

We’ll have light bites and wine. Can’t wait to spend another holiday season with you.

I'm overwhelmingly grateful to think that we'll be celebrating our 5th Annual Small Business Saturday in Detroit together on Saturday, November 24th. 

We've always said that Eldorado is an art project and platform to provide people purchasing power, to engage with our community, and to make positive change. Each year as Eldorado grows, so does our neighborhood and city. And that growth means we get to put money in the pockets of the people we love most - fellow dreamers and small business owners doing big things. 

For the last 5 holiday seasons, we've stocked the shop with locally made goods, fair trade items, and objects ethically made with a bigger purpose or mission. But this year as I get ready to spend the holidays with you, I realize we've filled our space with over 60 makers, artists, and small businesses! This is such an unbelievable milestone because we opened with just a selection of vintage clothing and trinkets. Your decision to shop small and local all year round helped make this possible, and we want to celebrate with you.

Stop by on Small Business Saturday, we'd love to pour you one of our famous disco ball mimosas and cheers to what makes Detroit sparkle - it's small business community.

FRIENDS, WE'RE 4!!!!!!!

We're having a birthday party and it's going to be BIG! 3-stories big. And we definitely want you to be a part of it.

On Saturday, July 21st from 11am-7pm we'll be celebrating our 4th Birthday by gifting a 3-story mural created by Los Angeles based artist Hans Walor to our Corktown neighborhood and the city of Detroit.

This mural is a gift to YOU. Your endless support over the last 4 years made this Eldorado dream a reality and we'd like to celebrate this milestone together with you.

KEPT makes jewelry inspired by simple lines and geometric shapes using brass, natural stones, and found objects.

Tarot Thursday is one of my favorite events at Eldorado. And I'm excited to announce the next one on Thursday, June 14th from 4-7pm.

Eldorado's Resident Tarot Reader and Medium, Nefertiti Harris, will be spreading her good vibes and sharing her spiritual intuitiveness.  Let's soak in the newness of the new moon and celebrate what's on the horizon with nurturing tarot readings and insight.

Half hour readings are $45. Walk-ins welcome but spaces are limited. If you'd like to reserve a time please email erin@eldoradogeneralstore.com

We're getting so excited for our 2nd Annual community focused neighborhood-wide Spring Into Corktown event on Saturday, May 19th from 10am-8pm.

So many free activities planned around our neighborhood like...

Alright folks, if you missed this epic duo during our Open Streets party in October don't worry because The Good Rug and Alchemy Henna are back at Eldorado on Sunday, December 17th from 1-5pm. 

Scoop up some beautiful moroccan and turkish rugs, textiles, pillows and poofs. Adorn yourself in henna designs and apothacary goods.

Local Detroit ladies, Fate & Coincidence and make.do.studio, will be popping up at Eldorado on Saturday, December 16th from 1-5pm.

Stop by, hang with us, and get a little holiday shopping done while supporting some amazing female Detroit makers.

Stop by Eldorado during Corktown's 2nd Annual Corktown-a-Glow on Saturday, December 9th for fun times, good tunes, and a pop-up with local maker Monta. There will be tons of fun things to do throughout the neighborhood. Jump on and off Nemo's free holiday shopping shuttle from 12-6pm. Enjoy complimentary hot chocolate, roast marshmallows by the fire and check out the free photo booth with Santa from 5-6pm. And, make sure to stay for the tree lighting ceremony at 6pm.

Resident tarot reader and medium, Nefertiti, will be back at Eldorado on Thursday, December 7th to give us some nurturing knowledge and guidance for the holiday season. Stop by, grab a reading, and fill up on good vibes. Nefertiti will be in the shop between 4-7pm. Walk-ins welcome but if you'd like to reserve a spot please email erin@eldoradogeneralstore.com. It's summer and it's time to celebrate! Join us on Thursday, June 29th from 4-7pm for our Summer Solstice Party during Corktown Strut Week. 

Nefertiti, our resident tarot reader, will be giving readings and Alchemy Henna our resident henna artist, will be adorning you in beautiful henna designs. 

We'll have a special ceremony that focuses on cleansing crystals and setting summertime intentions. Bring your favorite crystals or talisman and drop by! 

Tarot readings are $45 for a half hour. Henna designs generally range from $15-$30. 

Every purchase gets a free Spirit Animal reading. Can't wait to see you!
