SHIPPING

How long does shipping take? We generally take 1-3 business days to ship out orders from our Detroit based brick and mortar storefront. We ship FedEx and USPS Priority shipping (generally takes 2-3 days to arrive). Please allow for more time in our post Covid-19 environments - we have experienced delays from all carriers and know that everyone is doing their best to get packages delivered as quickly as possible. When available, we will provide you with a tracking number so you can follow the package as it travels to you.

Missed the delivery of your package? If you enter your tracking number you should be able to reschedule a delivery manually on the courier website. Also, you may contact or visit your local post office assigned to your zip code and they should be holding the package for you there.

Damaged goods? If you receive an item that is damaged please contact us immediately. All damages must be reported within 48 hours upon receiving your order so we can connect with the carrier and begin the refund/replace process.

Please note: Eldorado General Store is not responsible for lost, delayed or stolen packages. Once a package is in the carriers possession, many factors are out of our control. If a package is marked as delivered, but missing from the point of delivery, we cannot be held responsible for refunding or replacing shipment. Please contact your local carrier to remedy the situation - we are happy to assist when possible.

We travel for most items we share in our shop. There are rare cases throughout the year when your package will be delayed because we are on a buying trip and are unable to ship your order out until we return. You will receive an email with your order number and shipping update should this be the case. We apologize for any inconvenience in the delay. We appreciate you supporting a (very) small business.

 
 

 
 

ONLINE RETURNS

What is your online return policy?

If you wish to return your purchase, we will gladly issue a store credit or exchange within 14 days of delivery for items that are returned in new, unused condition in their original package. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not match these conditions.

All returns must be pre-approved by Eldorado General Store. Before shipping back your return, drop us an email at chris@eldoradogeneralstore.com to let us know which item you are returning.  Shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. All return packages must be insured. Eldorado General Store is not responsible for lost or damaged items on their way to us.

Apothecary Items

Due to sanitary reasons, we can not accept returns or exchanges on any apothecary items.

Vintage Items

Due to their delicate nature, all of our vintage goods are final sale.

We do not buy from the public.

We gather our goods while traveling but we’re so thankful you thought of us.

If you’re a wholesaler, maker or artist please contact us through the submissions form under CONNECT at the footer.

Unfortunately, we are not able to view any items brought into the shop during public store hours.


JEWELRY REPAIRS

We do our best to make sure your pieces keep on shining years after their purchase. Daily jewelry can need cleaning and repairs over the years. If you have an issue or need a repair, we’d love to try to assist in that. While we don’t repair the pieces ourselves in house - we can connect you directly with the artists for the repair or attempt to find solutions. We want you wearing your favorite pieces again!
